Who is she?

If you like me have had a season of favor and promotion, you have heard those words. Maybe they were never vocalized but the thoughts were there. Being highly prophetic I tend to pick up on these thoughts. At this moment I have a choice to make. Will I bow down to intimidation and fear or stand tall and boldly embrace what God has created for me to walk in.

Recently in a season of transition I heard these very words and to be honest I nearly caved. Maybe it was my own insecurities but because I know who I am as a daughter it was easier to press in and hear what God had to say.

To some, I am proud and relentless, ambitious, and dominant. To God, I am zealous, passionate, and assertive. The reason I can be trusted with somethings is that for years I’ve cried out and wept in the secret place learning to dream again.

The Lord spoke to me and he said this. There are 2 kinds of people watching you.

1. The people that see the work that I am doing in you, they see not only the favor but the refining fire you have had to walk through. They see me raising you up as a shining star in the midst of the darkness and they are here to champion you through. They will lend support and come alongside me to encourage you and remind you who you are when things get hard. Character building is not for the faint of heart and you have chosen the better thing.

2. The second type of people doesn’t know why but you just rub them the wrong way. These people may hurt you, and try to intimidate you and discourage you. They are waiting for you to fail so that their feelings and emotions towards you will be validated. What they don’t know is that your influence is not their influence because I have created something unique for them. You will love them relentlessly and press into who I tell you they are.

In this season a bountiful measure of love is my portion to love all people even the ones that would love for me to fail. My heart is to be liquid love that could lead people to an encounter with God. The creator of their innermost being that has a unique destiny and purpose for each and every one.
